Full-Time Hawker Stall Assistant

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and engage with customers. As a Hawker Stall Assistant, responsibilities include consistently preparing frozen curry puffs in the deep fryer, transferring products to the warmer, taking orders, serving customers, and handling basic cashiering/POS transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate deep fryer efficiently and safely.
  • Transfer products to the warmer and maintain display standards.
  • Take orders, serve customers, and handle basic cashiering/POS tasks.
  • Monitor product levels and inform team members when to restock.
  • Ensure stall cleanliness by performing opening/closing cleaning and simple dishwashing tasks.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene SOPs by completing temperature/hygiene checks.
  • Assist with ad-hoc stall duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 (Food Hygiene) certificate.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and work in a warm kitchen environment.
  • Comfortable with weekend and public holiday shifts on roster.
  • Basic spoken English or Chinese for safety/hygiene logs and customer service.
  • Punctual, reliable, and attentive to cleanliness and safety.
