Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our organization. In this role, you will be supporting the Finance department by architecting, designing, prototyping, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI.

This includes creating visual reports, interactive dashboards, and KPI scorecards that empower finance stakeholders with actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.

  • Partner closely with Finance business partners to gather and understand reporting requirements; design and enhance data architecture tailored to finance and business needs.
  • Design, prototype, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI, including interactive financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator scorecards.
  • Assess current financial reporting platforms to identify areas for optimization; develop and execute a strategic migration plan to modernize financial reporting using Power BI and best industry practices.
  • Apply rigorous data quality assurance methodologies to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data models and BI solutions.
  • Provide timely, ad-hoc access to large financial datasets to support reporting and analytical needs.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of finance principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting processes.
  • Proven experience collaborating with finance departments and translating financial business requirements into technical BI solutions.
  • Proven experience with ETL tools, data warehousing, and scalable data pipelines within a finance context.
  • Strong SQL skills for financial data extraction, transformation, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards relevant to finance.
