Job Title: Automotive Workshop Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Workshop Manager to lead our workshop team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing workflow, team management, and customer experience.

  • Manage the workflow of all jobs to brand standard
  • Manage a team of technicians ensuring workflow through the workshop is done in an efficient and effective manner
  • Provide focused management to the service department team to ensure an excellent customer experience
  • Ensure processes are always adhered to
  • Conduct regular process reviews with your Ops Manager to identify operational issues/discrepancies and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken to rectify
  • Manage the performance of the workshop to ensure that KPI targets are achieved
  • Manage and plan workshop/support resources to ensure that work requirements are fulfilled
  • Support the department team as required and ensure that all work is completed on time
  • Support the service department with specifications and coding of non-standard, complex jobs and ensure all such work is approved with customers prior to any work being started
