Singapore Conservation and Community Science Leader

Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our conservation and community science initiatives. This role will involve strategic development, team management, and program implementation.

  • Create and implement strategic team workplans to achieve conservation goals.
  • Develop and manage local conservation projects, working closely with stakeholders and partners.
  • Supervise a team to identify and recruit vendors for high-quality educational materials and programs.
  • Liaise with schools, universities, corporates, public institutions, and ministries for various educational and outreach endeavors.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • PhD/Master's degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Geography or related fields.
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in Singapore nature conservation, education, and outreach events.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading and managing a team.
  • Proven success in developing and managing local conservation projects.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and group facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of local biodiversity, especially native flora and fauna.
  • Passion for environmental issues, nature, advocacy, and change.
