Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Manager, Centre for Healthcare Innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare improvement, population health, and knowledge management.

About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead the development and execution of an innovation roadmap / framework with the Directors of CHA, CAPE and CANS in the area of workforce transformation.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a culture of innovation by creating thought leadership opportunities and focused partnerships.
  • This role requires excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for details.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Co-lead the development and execution of an innovation roadmap / framework.
  2. Promote a culture of innovation by creating thought leadership opportunities and focused partnerships.
  3. Catalyse value-based outcomes and exchange of knowledge at professional co-learning platforms.
  4. Lead the development and curation of community enabling and patient education programmes.
  5. Provide a conducive environment where healthcare professionals and social care professionals can co-learn and co-design new healthcare innovations.
  6. Leverage professional expertise of allied health professionals, pharmacists and nurses.
  7. Identify and leverage potential funding programmes and partners.
  8. Lead and implement large-scale community and professional networking events and festivals.
Requirements
  • Degree in business, communications, social sciences, behavioral science, psychology, social anthropology or a related field.
  • At least 5 or more years of experience in a managerial role in the healthcare, social care and/or the government sector.
  • Candidate must have experience in leading teams and operating in a matrix reporting environment.
  • A critical and strategic thinker with the ability to lead and influence behaviours to get work done with measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
