Special Education Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Special Education Teacher.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons for students with autism, utilizing various teaching strategies and techniques.

They will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop curriculum and programmes that cater to student needs, and work closely with parents and colleagues to provide quality education and care for students.

The teacher will also be required to understand and adapt approaches to meet students' diverse learning and developmental needs, and plan and write IEP lesson plans, reports, records, and documentation.

Requirements
  • A recognised degree or polytechnic diploma in education is mandatory.
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent in special education are preferred.
  • Five credits in GCE 'O' level with a pass in English and mathematics are necessary.
  • Preferably three years of experience at primary level are required.
  • Familiarity with national curriculum is essential.
  • Possession of passion in teaching is a must.
  • Experience in teaching children and youths with autism is an added advantage.
