Music Educator Opportunity

 

Aureus Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced music educator to join our team of skilled instructors. The ideal candidate will have a strong musical background and excellent teaching skills.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses. They will teach music theory, aural skills, and practical techniques to students entering and preparing pupils for examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses.
  • Teach music theory, aural skills, and practical techniques to students entering and preparing pupils for examinations.
  • Source appropriate teaching materials and resources for music lessons.
  • Foster a motivating learning environment and encourage progress in students' musical journeys.
  • Assess students' abilities, provide constructive feedback, and write reports for parental feedback.
  • Accompany or lead ensemble practice and performances as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Diploma in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM).
  • 1-2 years of experience in teaching or related fields preferred.
  • Bright and cheerful personality with confident communication skills.
