We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to provide financial expertise and support to our business units.

  • Assist the Local Finance team in business partnering with Hasbro for the WOTC Business.
  • Provide financial analysis and forecasting to enable informed decision-making.
  • Responsible for the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and actuals process.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Assist with month-end reporting, including the preparation and calculation of obsolescence, overheads, A&P, prior year usage, reworks, special shipping, D2 submission, and FX revaluations.
  • Assist with year-end reporting to ensure adequate and accurate reserves have been provided and ready for auditing.

Advertising & Promotion Spend & JMA Spend:

  • Expertly manage the budgets of A&P and JMA, including tracking and monitoring of spend.
  • Work closely with local Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment and effective spend management.
  • Approve all Purchase Requisitions in line with budget/forecast, ensuring SOX controls are met.
  • Prepare ROI schedules and conduct regular reviews with Marketing Managers and Sales Managers.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that monitor and track promotional spends.

Forecast and Budget Submissions:

  • Prepare and create forecasts and budgets using the TLP System.
  • Submit Domestic and FOB Budgets/Forecasts P&L and Balance Sheet by month using the Longview System, ensuring reconciliation to the Budget/Forecast.
  • Prepare budget, forecast, and actual Domestic and FOB net revenue by brand, by month, and upload into Longview, ensuring reconciliation to the Budget/Forecast/Actual.

Sales Reporting:

  • Prepare weekly Orders and Shipments for submission to Corporate Finance.
  • Review various weekly reports by brand and account, ensuring accuracy and providing analysis where appropriate.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager and/or senior management.
  • Develop expertise in Long View/SAP/BI/Excel systems.

Requirements:

  • Some demonstrable experience in a commercial finance role in the Entertainment and/or Games industry is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Curious, forward-thinking, and innovative.
  • Understanding and experience of management accounting.
  • Excellent planning and analytical ability.
  • Organized self-starter.
  • Excellent communication ability.
  • Team player.

Education and Training:

  • Degree-level education in business, commerce, marketing, or sales-related fields.
  • Understanding and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
  • PC skills: must be fully proficient with MS Office (Advanced level Excel, Intermediate Word/PowerPoint).
