We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Raffles Heart Centre. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures and surgeries, while contributing to the overall success of our cardiac care program.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at Raffles Heart Centre, you will be responsible for delivering individualized care to patients, including assessing their needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating their progress. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote seamless transitions between departments.
Responsibilities
Preparing patients for catheterization procedures by explaining the process and obtaining informed consent
Monitoring patients' vital signs and comfort levels throughout the procedure
Assisting cardiologists with instruments, equipment, and procedural support
Administering medications as required
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work 5.5 days (Saturday half day) and be willing to do on-call duties when necessary.
