Are you eager to develop and refine your Japanese culinary skills in a dynamic kitchen environment?

About the Role">
  • As a cook, you will have the opportunity to learn authentic Japanese cooking methods by preparing dishes from scratch.

At each restaurant, we boil pork bones to make our ramen broth, butcher meat every day, and create our own sauces. We do not have a central kitchen, which means you will be responsible for maintaining your station end-to-end, including hygiene, food preparation, food quality, and food presentation.

You will also take responsibility for ordering inventory and have the opportunity to work at different food stations to expand your culinary skills.

Our ideal candidate will have minimum 6 months of full-time commercial cooking experience, with experience in other cuisines welcome. Graduating or graduated culinary students are also encouraged to apply.

You should be able to read food orders in English and have basic Mandarin communication skills. You will need to be punctual, dependable, have a positive attitude, and be keen to learn.

While we prefer to hire a full-time cook on a permanent basis, we may consider a kitchen helper role or longer-term part-time roles.
