Private Equity Investment Specialist

We are a long-term investor with a disciplined investment approach.
Our global mandate allows us to invest across various asset classes, including private equity, real estate, public equities, fixed income and alternatives.
The role of the Associate Director involves assisting the Head of Private Equity Fund Investment in sourcing and evaluating Private Equity and Private Credit funds, monitoring their performance and highlighting key matters for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a private equity fund investment strategy and set long-term goals for portfolio diversification.
- Identify and evaluate fund investment opportunities, leading the due diligence process.
- Assess fund managers and fund performance metrics, prepare investment memos and present to the investment committee.
- Monitor the performance and risk exposure of the private equity fund portfolio.
- Implement portfolio analytics tools, conduct performance attribution and benchmarking.
- Evaluate exit strategies and liquidity planning, including potential secondaries sales or restructurings.
- Design and implement a co-investment program, working closely with stakeholders to define strategy, structure processes and evaluate opportunities.
- Lead and mentor an Analyst/Associate.
- Degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent. A master's degree in these disciplines or CFA qualification is advantageous.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience covering North American and European markets is beneficial.
- Deep understanding of private equity and private credit fund structures, with expertise in designing and managing private markets allocation strategies.
- Strong knowledge and skills in fund manager due diligence, familiarity with buy-side LP decision frameworks.
- Good business and investment acumen, awareness of global markets, economy and geopolitical developments.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal qualities, high ethical and professional standards.
