About this role:

We're seeking a talented Investment Officer to join our team. In this key position, you'll play a vital role in supporting the implementation of our Chief Investment Officer's target operating model.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting asset and liability management through company-wide Strategic Asset Allocation and Tactical Asset Allocation processes.
  • Setting investment strategies and objectives to support product development and competitiveness.
  • Monitoring and reporting investment performance, including bottom-up and top-down analysis.

You'll be responsible for developing and implementing AIA Singapore and AIA Brunei strategic asset allocation and asset-liability management frameworks from an investment perspective.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record as an investment officer, focusing on fixed income in life insurance companies or banks, or asset management companies.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, financial engineering, data analytics, statistics, math, economics, or actuarial science.
  • Masters degrees and/or additional professional qualifications such as CFA are preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with a strong proven track record in investment management, quantitative analysis, capital market and balance sheet management.
  • Investment qualification, insurance product knowledge, or actuarial experience is a plus.
