Job Description

You will design and develop electronic circuit boards for our drone systems and be part of a tight-knit team that provides safe, reliable drone systems and quality services to distinguished customers in Singapore and around the region.

Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Researching and defining efficient and reliable architecture to meet electronic circuit board requirements for our drone systems.
  2. Sourcing suitable electronic components to implement the design architecture.
  3. Studying datasheets of electronic components and designing schematic diagrams of electronic circuit boards that meet requirements.
  4. Designing printed circuit board (PCB) layouts of electronic circuit boards and generating Gerber files for PCB fabrication.
  5. Programming firmware in embedded C/C++ language.
  6. Testing PCB assemblies thoroughly and ensuring they operate as expected.
  7. Generating documents and drawings of design and test.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

  1. A minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a field related to electronic hardware and firmware design.
  2. 3-5 years of industry or relevant experience in electronic hardware and firmware design.
  3. Experience in analog and digital circuit design.
  4. Experience in designing electronic circuits with microcontrollers, digital signal processors (DSPs), field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), etc.
  5. Knowledge of various communication buses and protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, etc.
  6. Proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD Capture and PCB Designer, Autodesk EAGLE, etc.
  7. Proficiency in using instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, etc. to troubleshoot issues on electronic circuit boards.
  8. Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
  9. Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  10. Excellent written and verbal skills.
