Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Safety Training and Inspections: Develop and implement comprehensive safety training programs for our workforce, and conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Enforce Safety Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety laws and regulations, and develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
  • Prepare Safety Documents: Develop and maintain all safety-related documents, including safety procedures, emergency response plans, and incident reports.
  • Conduct Toolbox Meetings: Lead regular toolbox meetings with workers to discuss safety procedures, share best practices, and address any safety concerns.
  • Assist in Accident Investigations: Participate in investigations of accidents and incidents, and develop recommendations to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  • Participate in Risk Assessments: Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Monitor Compliance: Ensure that all safety regulations and standards are met, and provide guidance and support to employees to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess relevant certifications, including Advanced Certificate in WSH, Lifting Supervisors Safety Course, and Oil and petrochemical safety supervisor course.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Have a strong understanding of WSH Act and legislation, and be familiar with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO45001.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication, writing, and computer skills, and be able to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Language Proficiency: Be fluent in English, and possess a Class 3 driving license (an added advantage).
  • Relevant Experience: Have relevant experience in heavy lift and logistics (an added advantage).
