The role of Regional Finance Controller, Southeast Asia is a strategic leadership position that plays a vital part in driving financial performance, supporting market expansion, and shaping the company's long-term success across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to step into a critical role and guide the finance business partner for the client across Southeast Asia.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for guiding and advising the SEA Management team on all financial and business matters, including financial planning, controlling, accounting, and treasury.

  • Drive substantial and sustainable business growth across the region
  • Build and lead a strong finance team
  • E nsure compliance across all business operations

To succeed in this role, you must have proven leadership skills, demonstrated expertise in regional financial planning, consolidation, treasury management, and strategic investment. You should also possess exceptional analytical skills paired with solid business acumen, with the ability to connect financial outcomes to business strategy.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic business partner who can advise and guide the SEA Management team; willing to travel frequently within SEA.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Serve as Finance Business Partner to the SEA Director and a key member of the SEA senior leadership team
  2. Drive business planning, operational support, and growth initiatives across the region
  3. Lead financial planning & analysis, risk management, and support strategic investment decisions
  4. Oversee finance operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance, and internal controls
  5. Manage tax reporting, audits, and adherence to accounting standards and regional regulations
  6. Provide leadership to the finance team and engage with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
