Job Description:

The Senior Corporate Lawyer will be part of a multi-jurisdictional team providing legal advice and guidance for the organization.

  • Provide comprehensive legal support to business teams through the entire product lifecycle from innovation to ongoing support.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Compliance team to address global legal and regulatory requirements relating to digital asset services.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, providing legal risk assessments and recommendations to mitigate risk exposure while supporting business goals.
  • Advise on a broad range of legal matters including financial regulations, intellectual property, data protection and privacy, corporate and commercial law, employment and labor laws across various jurisdictions and legal entities.
  • Proactively monitor legal and regulatory developments within the industry; provide timely strategic guidance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the Group's legal and compliance strategy, including ongoing assessment of legal risks across the Group.
  • Manage engagements of external counsel to ensure Group interests are well represented.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Qualified lawyer with an LLB, JD, or equivalent law degree; admitted and in good standing to practice law in a leading common law jurisdiction.
  • 5-7 years' experience at a reputable international or local law firm, or in a relevant in-house legal role.
