Citi's Commercial and Business Sales division is seeking a skilled Business Development Associate to join our team. This role will be responsible for building relationships with clients, ensuring timely completion of regulatory requirements, and coordinating credit requests and approvals from Citi's global network.

Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with client networks and operational teams, serving as a key point of contact for internal requests, problem escalation, and resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely completion of Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements in partnership with product partners and Relationship Managers (RMs).
  • Credit Request Coordination: Work with RMs and product partners to onboard new clients or subsidiaries, complete KYC/initial credit set-ups, and coordinate credit requests and approvals from Citi's global network.
  • Revenue Growth Opportunities: Engage with product partners and Citi's global network to identify revenue opportunities and position relevant products with clients.
  • Client Support: Ensure periodic support discussions are held with clients and properly documented, maintaining accurate client legal and marketing hierarchies.
  • Credit Documentation: Partner with the Credit Admin team to ensure credit documentation is up-to-date and current, including FX, derivatives, Loans, LCs, and other credit-related documents.
  • Cash Transaction Implementation: Assist in implementing cash transactions for Bankers.
Qualifications
  • Relevant Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
Estimated Salary Range:

$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
