Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and expertise to clients in the banking and financial industry.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to production support, ITIL, release support, and technical implementations.
  • Collaborate with development and internal business operations teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on technical procedures and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in production support, ITIL, release support, and technical implementations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge of Java/J2EE, Core Java, JDBC, EJB, Java Web Services, and Server-side technologies.
  • Strong operating system knowledge in Unix and Windows, including strong scripting skills.
  • Experience with Oracle, DB2, and PL/SQL query performance tuning.
  • Ability to work closely with Technology Infrastructure Teams and Development Testing Teams to support integrated and independent releases.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with middleware components such as Message Broker, IBM Websphere MQ, JBoss application server, and MuleSoft.
  • Knowledge of banking and financial industry regulations and standards.
  • Experience with on-call support for triaging problems and coordinating with various support teams.
