Job Title: Billing Specialist

The Billing Specialist will be responsible for generating accurate and timely invoices to customers, responding to billing inquiries, and resolving bill issues. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Generation: Prepare and generate accurate and timely invoices to customers.
  • Billing Support: Respond to billing inquiries and resolve bill issues.
  • Project Assistance: Perform ad-hoc duties such as supporting billing system project activities and management reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A minimum of a Diploma qualification is required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience preferably in the utilities industry, specializing in a billing or collections role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Dynamics).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with numbers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
