Junior Japanese Equities Trader

As a Junior Japanese Equities Trader, you will be responsible for executing equity trades across markets for our strategies. You will manage order flow and optimize execution timing to minimize market impact. You will also utilize various execution algorithms and direct market access tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute equity trades across markets for our strategies
• Manage order flow and optimize execution timing to minimize market impact
• Utilize various execution algorithms and direct market access tools
• Execute block trades, program trades, and portfolio transitions efficiently
• Monitor intraday market conditions and adjust execution strategies accordingly

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in financial markets (trading, operations, or related field) OR recent graduate with strong academic background in finance/economics

Market Interest:

Genuine interest in Japanese equity markets and eagerness to learn market dynamics

Learning Mindset:

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in fast-paced environments with strong analytical skills

Technical Skills:

Basic familiarity with financial systems; willingness to learn OMS/EMS and trading platforms

Personal Qualities:

Strong work ethic, resilience under pressure, attention to detail, and collaborative team player

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English

Drive:

Self-motivated with ambition to grow into a senior execution trader role
