Job Title: Preschool Cleaner

Our childcare centre is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the centre, including floors, walls, windows, and furniture;
  • Empty trash and recyclables regularly;
  • Clean bathrooms, kitchenettes, and other high-touch areas;
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed;
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, and disinfecting surfaces;
  • Respond promptly to spills and messes.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience working in a childcare centre or similar environment;
  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries;
  • The flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
