Aerospace Laser Technician Specialist

Our organization is currently seeking a skilled Laser Technician Specialist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing a range of duties related to 50% Taping Operations and 50% Laser Operations or Laser Inspection.
- Applying aluminum tape to aerospace components
- Removing and cleaning the components using abrasives and chemicals
- Working with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors to process customer parts
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace components
- Verify processing parameters based on customer specifications
- Ensure timely deliveries by maintaining product conformity and service quality
- Communicate effectively with the production team and contribute to performance management processes
- Conduct periodic inspections and calibration of precision tools
- Maintain current versions of customer specifications, drawings, and inspection records
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions
