We are looking for a talented Space Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of software for satellite missions. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded software for on-board computers using C/C++ or other appropriate languages.

The engineer will be working with a team to develop software for ground stations, including front-end GUIs, back-end services, and databases using C# or other suitable languages. They will also integrate ground software with existing mission control systems and implement software modules for various subsystems, such as attitude determination and control, communication, power, and payload data handling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and testing software for satellite missions
  • Working with a team to develop software for ground stations
  • Integrating ground software with existing mission control systems
  • Implementing software modules for various subsystems
  • Developing and executing software unit tests, integration tests, and system-level tests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in C/C++/C# programming
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) is highly desirable
  • Experience with API design and development
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus
  • Adept with tooling such as GIT and CI/CD
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in space exploration and satellite technology
