Job Title: Lead Coach

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Coach to lead our Infant & Toddler Swim Programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching young children, with a focus on water safety and age-appropriate swim techniques.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with infants and toddlers, creating engaging lesson plans, and guiding coaches in the programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate swim lessons for infants and toddlers
  • Developing and refining the infant curriculum, creating engaging lesson plans
  • Leading and running workshops, parent-child sessions, and swim camps
  • Guiding, mentoring, and training other coaches in the programme
  • Creating a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment
  • Communicating with parents on progress and tips for at-home support

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience teaching infants, toddlers, or young children (below the age of 3) in a swim or aquatic setting
  • At least 2 years' experience in infant curriculum development and lesson planning
  • Ability to create and run workshops, parent-child sessions, and swim camps
  • Strong knowledge of water safety, early childhood development, and age-appropriate swim techniques
  • Ability to mentor and train other coaches
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with parents and team members
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children
  • Coaching certifications (e.g., Swim England, AUSTSWIM, or equivalent) are preferred but not mandatory
