About the Role
As a Manufacturing Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. You will also perform sampling and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory and company specifications. Additionally, you will operate, maintain, and verify inspection tools and equipment, record and report inspection and test results accurately, and identify and report any deviations or defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform sampling and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory and company specifications.
- Operate, maintain, and verify inspection tools and equipment.
- Record and report inspection and test results accurately.
- Identify and report any deviations or defects.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
- Perform microbial checking on raw materials, packaging materials, water samples from line, and finished products.
- Conduct process monitoring testing activities during production, after changeovers, and at designated intervals to ensure conformance to established specifications.
- Carry out periodic hygiene and GMP inspections.
- Support periodic inspections in and around the plant with Pest Control providers.
- Maintain quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality forms, and reports.
- Support internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on customer feedback and lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality-related issues.
