Construction Project Manager Role

The ideal candidate for this construction project management role will have a solid understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to completion.

This professional-level position requires a skilled and experienced project manager with expertise in contract management, quantity surveying, and construction procurement.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full pre- and post-contract activities including procurement, tender analysis, contract reviews, cost reporting, claims, and subcontractor management while ensuring compliance with company protocols.
  • Oversee the full spectrum of pre- and post-contract activities.
  • Compile and present weekly and monthly reports covering costs, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Lead procurement processes, evaluate tender submissions, and recommend preferred contractors to management.
  • Review contracts and negotiate terms with both clients and subcontractors.
  • Manage and issue notices related to contractual time bars.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the Group's Contract Management framework and procedures.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner when handling clients on matters such as insurance, EOT, variations, claims, and account submissions, driving these to mutually agreeable outcomes.
  • Supervise and engage sub-subcontractors fairly and effectively.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing construction contracts within civil engineering projects in Singapore.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in contract and cost management.
  • A detail-oriented and organised approach to work.
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
