Consulting Leadership Role

This leadership position is focused on managing and leading consulting projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery to clients in life sciences or related industries.

  • Manage project teams including internal and external resources to design, develop, and deliver client solutions.
  • Lead teams to review and analyze client requirements, developing proposals that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction.
  • Develop project plans with timelines and deliverables, leading projects to successful completion with limited senior management guidance.
  • Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
  • Serve as key point of contact with the client.
  • Provide high-level input to client reports and presentations, delivering findings to the client.
  • Identify new business opportunities through follow-on work and leads.
  • Proactively strengthen subject matter expertise through on-the-job experience, conferences, and knowledge sharing forums.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of healthcare consulting experience or 8+ years of general consulting experience.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, meetings, workshops, business writing, and report writing.
  • Strong capability in managing large/multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience working in sizable multidisciplinary teams and leading staff.
  • Experience developing credible relationships with senior managers and executives in the life sciences industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others to accomplish team goals.
  • Ability to contribute to business development through lead identification, proposal development, etc.
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience and commitment to the life sciences and/or healthcare industries.
  • A track record of leadership and people development.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • A willingness and ability to travel for work.
