**Job Overview**

The role is essential for maintaining the exceptional cleanliness and organization of communal areas and facilities in line with the established standards of the hotel. The individual will ensure that cleanliness is upheld in their designated areas, adhering to hotel protocols regarding deep cleaning conducted by external contractors in both public and back-of-house spaces.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Management of Daily Housekeeping Activities**

Oversees the maintenance of the entire hotel environment to uphold a pristine and luxurious atmosphere, with particular focus on VIP events. Ensures the public area team operates smoothly by confirming that all tasks are executed in compliance with the hotel's ethical standards. Maintains an impeccable image and perception of the hotel’s offerings, services, and staff. Establishes the groundwork for public area operations through meticulous planning of work and maintenance schedules, team supervision, and effective delegation of responsibilities. Demonstrates proficiency in cleaning techniques and the use of necessary equipment for thorough cleaning in public areas. Communicates all relevant occurrences or issues to the morning manager verbally and in writing.

**Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences**

Guarantees that guests receive experiences aligned with brand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), local SOP, and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards, while striving to meet management targets. Evaluates and addresses guest feedback to ensure satisfaction, with a continuous commitment to enhancing the quality of services and team performance.

**Leadership of the Housekeeping Team**

Guides the Public Area Team with a focus on creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment for a diverse group of housekeeping staff, prioritizing their well-being, safety, training, and development. Plans for 24-hour shift coverage of the Public Area team and is prepared to assume any role or responsibility in their absence. Manages the supply of cleaning materials, equipment, linens, and chemicals.

**Collaboration within the Housekeeping and Hotel Team**

Ensures service standards and individual performances reflect the core values of the organization. Adheres to sustainable practices that support corporate social responsibility initiatives. Complies with Work Safety and Health (WSH) policies and ensures all team members are trained in and follow WSH guidelines. Undertakes any reasonable tasks and additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager. Performs any other responsibilities that may be allocated. **Qualifications**

**Profile**

**Knowledge and Experience**

Certificate or diploma in hospitality or a related field. Minimum of 2 years in a housekeeping role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity. Experience in housekeeping or supervisory roles within a luxury hotel or resort setting. Certified Trainer or On-the-Job Trainer.

**Competencies**

Strong technical skills in housekeeping. Supervisory and leadership capabilities that are collaborative and empowering. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and guests at all levels. Familiarity with OPERA software. Ability to solve problems and make decisions within the scope of the role. Attention to detail, particularly regarding cleanliness and presentation. Capable of working independently, demonstrating reliability and self-direction. Adaptable and responsive to change.
