Job Role Overview

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our project sites.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing an effective Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System;
  • Conducting regular Environmental, Health and Safety Audits to ensure compliance with relevant legislation;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on local laws and regulations related to occupational safety and health and environment;
  • Designing and delivering EHS training programs for employees identified in RA and SWP documents;
  • Monitoring and analyzing WSH performance metrics and contributing to WHS committee discussions;
  • Performing ECO duties as assigned by senior management;
  • Implementing Earth Control Measures (ECM) plans, including erosion control and sediment control measures, in accordance with QECP designs;
  • Overseeing the implementation of ECM measures;
  • Developing ECM operations strategies;
  • Ensuring maintenance and inspection programs are carried out effectively on site;
  • Collaborating with Qualified Erosion Control Professionals (QECPs) to monitor the effectiveness of ECM measures throughout various construction stages;
  • Obtaining necessary Clearances from Public Utilities Board (PUB) by submitting ECM Plans endorsed by QECPs;
  • Installing ECM measures on site according to approved ECM Plans;
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by superiors or management.

Requirements:

  • Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or Bachelor's Degree in WSH-related fields with ECO certification;
  • Registration with NEA and IES is mandatory;
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in similar LTA Projects roles.
