We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Technical Procurement Specialist to join our team at THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring vessels' spare parts, supplies, and services, as well as managing the procurement process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Procure vessels' spare parts, supplies, and services, including preparation of relevant purchase orders and job orders to ensure proper supply for vessels.
  • Price Comparison and Supplier Management: Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates for potential suppliers, and verify suppliers' invoices against quotations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor vessels' movements, liaise with suppliers, masters, and agents to ensure timely delivery of supplies, and verify item received with items ordered.
  • Record Keeping and Filing: Maintain accurate records of all stores and spares purchased for vessels, and follow up on vessels' defect reports and docking issues.
  • Technical Coordination: Coordinate closely with Technical Superintendents and shipboard officers to ensure smooth marine operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Diploma holders with 2-3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the Shipping industry.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with vessel records and certificates, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
