Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to ensure adherence to company processes and procedures. This includes general administrative duties such as maintaining internal and external administrative documents, handling ad-hoc assignments and tasks as assigned by the manager/director, and answering phone calls and transferring lines to relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting functions include preparing financial documents, data entry into accounting systems, and filing tasks. Timely accuracy of monthly accounting entries must be maintained.
- Basic accounting functions include checking all purchase invoices against delivery orders prior to payment, managing accounts payable, issuing payments, processing reimbursements, cheques, and other related tasks.
- Inventory data entry involves managing inventory levels, updating pricing, and performing stock adjustments.
- Bank reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed assets register maintenance are also part of the responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Degree/Diploma in Accounting or ACCA/LCCI, a minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or F&B Accounts is preferred, and knowledge of Auto Count Inventory and Auto Count Accounting software is a plus.
