Financial Operations Manager

Critical Job Role:

The Financial Operations Manager will assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in implementing strategies related to cash management, funding, and capital planning.

  • Administer regional treasury policy and ensure adherence to governance framework and internal controls.
  • Monitor and maintain free cash flow of funds for headquarters and affiliates.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Flow Management

  • Track daily cash balances to determine regional cash positions.
  • Implement cash pooling according to policy.
  • Prepare and facilitate annual budget preparation, as well as monitor and compare actual revenues and expenses against such budget.
  • Forecast sources and uses of cash.

Funding and Capital Planning

  • Track and manage internal and external debt obligations.
  • Support CFO in managing inter-company funding requirements and evaluating funding parameters in accordance with regional treasury policy.
  • Monitor subsidiaries that are on funding support as determined by CFO.

Foreign Exchange and Risk Management

  • Assess and update foreign currency exposure in a timely manner.
  • Implement hedging and settlement of hedging in accordance with hedging policy.

Relationship Management

  • Regularly meet with bank officers to provide feedback, collect new product information, and consider process improvements.
  • Carry out regular RFQ and RFP with banks to ensure competitive products and fees.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, or Statistics. ACCA certification is also acceptable.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Treasury Operations.
  • Knowledge of hedge accounting, SAP, and treasury systems.
  • Strong team player with a curious mindset and a willingness to learn.
