BIM Coordinator

As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a central role in ensuring seamless collaboration and communication between different disciplines on a project.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and enforce the BIM Execution Plan, outlining project goals, standards, protocols, and workflows.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of the project's central or federated model, aggregating individual models from different disciplines.
  • Perform regular audits and quality checks on BIM models to ensure they meet project specifications, industry standards, and are accurate and complete.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM software and related tools, assisting team members with modeling challenges.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including clash reports, meeting minutes, and model audit records.
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of BIM software platforms (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD, Civil 3D, Tekla Structures).
  • Expertise in BIM coordination and clash detection software (e.g., Navisworks Manage, BIM 360, Solibri).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with diverse teams.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
