About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated professional to join our multidisciplinary team as a Senior Clinical Lead. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for providing high-quality patient care and leading clinical teams.
The role involves overseeing inpatient wards or home care patients, conducting daily ward rounds, attending new admissions, and performing on-call duties. You will also be responsible for supervising junior doctors, teaching medical students, and participating in research and quality improvement projects.
Responsibilities- Lead the multidisciplinary team in the ward and/or in the home care team.
- Conduct daily ward rounds or pre-visit huddles with medical officers/resident physicians.
- Attend to new admissions by reviewing referral notes, performing physical examinations, and interviewing family members.
- Perform on-call duties as 2nd line staff with ability to provide direct care on-site as the situation warrants.
- Supervise and teach medical officers, residents, and clinical associates.
- Participate in research and quality improvement projects.
- Possesses an MBBS degree or equivalent qualification recognized by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
- Completed postgraduate training in Palliative Care, Rehabilitation Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and/or Family Medicine.
- Holds specialist accreditation from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and registration with the SMC in the relevant specialty.
- Has at least 10 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
- Demonstrates experience and a strong passion for working in the fields of geriatrics, rehabilitation, family medicine, and/or palliative care.
- A person of integrity who is highly motivated, effective, and able to foster strong interpersonal relationships while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and other departments.
