Job Overview

As a seasoned Business Analyst with expertise in Core Banking, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization’s objectives. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in Data Lake platforms and a strong understanding of core banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of pre-study activities across multiple workstreams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements, fostering a culture of transparency and open communication.
• Translate banking business needs into technical specifications for data lake solutions, driving innovation and efficiency.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to design and validate Databricks-based pipelines and analytics workflows, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Analyse core banking processes and identify opportunities for data-driven optimization, driving business growth and improvement.
• Support data governance, lineage, and quality initiatives across banking datasets, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder reviews, and UAT sessions to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and business requirement documents to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies related to data and banking systems, providing timely insights and recommendations.
• Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations, empowering stakeholders with data-driven intelligence.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Finance, or related field, with a strong foundation in analytical skills and business acumen.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or similar data lake technologies, with a deep understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
• Strong understanding of Core Banking systems (e.g., CASA, Lending, Payments), with the ability to analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Familiarity with data modelling, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Proficiency in tools like SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Power BI, with the ability to leverage them effectively to drive business outcomes.
