Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant to join our team at Panasonic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. As an IT Consultant, you will be responsible for providing IT and operational support for our in-house supply-chain management systems, demand forecast planning, and sales companies in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide IT and operational support for in-house supply-chain management systems, demand forecast planning, and sales companies in the APAC region.
  • Support customers to track and resolve reported issues and queries in a timely manner, with minimal impact to business operations.
  • Address users' operational concerns and provide training and guidance as needed.
  • Work closely with users to understand business needs and propose improvements to systems and operations to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with regional IT and key users to support system and operations in the APAC region.
  • Work closely with internal product development teams to support system and operations improvements.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide resolution within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Support the team in the rollout of new solutions, system change requests, and improvements.
  • Identify new technologies and improvements to enhance solution and support to business operations.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to collaborate well with other related teams, such as SAP, as part of overall support and solution management.
  • Strong data analysis skills to support user queries and clarifications.
  • Experience in SCM domain and similar support roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Education: Degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology.
  • Technical Skills: Min 1+ years' experience in Oracle Database (Complex SQL Queries, PL/SQL),.net (WinForms, Web, MVC), and Reporting tools (RDC, Crystal Reports).

Work Experience

  • Min 1+ years working in business system/user support environment.
  • Min 1+ years working on database/analysis activities in support environment.
  • Experience supporting regional users is advantageous.
  • Note: Fresh graduates from IT stream with good knowledge of Oracle/SQL and.net are welcome, even with no experience.
