We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in managing daily IT support needs and leading our Information Security Awareness Program.
Your primary responsibility will be to have a strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and hands-on management of information security initiatives and incident response. This includes applying basic cybersecurity concepts such as malware, phishing, encryption, and MFA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software and system updates, ensuring patches for vulnerabilities
- Setting up and maintaining firewalls and antivirus solutions
- Establishing incident reporting protocols
- Coaching employees in safe reporting practices and enforcing password management principles, including complex passwords and two-factor authentication
You will also be responsible for training and supporting employees to recognize phishing emails and suspicious activity, using encryption tools for securing data in transit and at rest, educating employees on identifying security threats, and encouraging a proactive security culture.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster an engaged and alert workforce. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience and a Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science.
Benefits include leave encashment and Provident Fund. The work shift is during the day from Monday to Friday, and the ability to commute/relocate to the specified location is required.
