Job Title:
Trauma Surgeon

Overview:
The Department of General Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital is a leading surgical department in Singapore, providing comprehensive care across multiple subspecialties. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trauma Surgeon to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive trauma and acute care surgical services.
2. Participate in trauma team activation and emergency response.
3. Contribute to resident education and medical student teaching.
4. Engage in collaborative clinical research with industry partners and quality improvement initiatives.
5. Participate in after-hours on-call roster.

Surgical Expertise:
Provide emergency surgical care for critical and multiple injuries to different organ systems in the thoracic and abdominal cavities.

Qualifications and Requirements:
The candidate must possess a basic Medical Degree and a recognised post-graduate qualification in General Surgery. The candidate should have completed followship training in trauma surgery and possess post-specialty training in General Surgery with interest in acute care and trauma surgery. Experience in acute care surgery and emergency general surgery is essential. A strong track record in clinical care and teaching is required. Research experience is advantageous.
