About the Role

Edelman Data & Intelligence (DXI) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Analyst Intern to join our team. As a Research Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including research design, data collection, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support research design and data collection, quality control, production, and analysis of research materials and documents.
  • Primary research efforts will include supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned research projects, including questionnaire preparation, fieldwork setup, data collection, analysis plan, insights generation, and report writing.
  • Liaise with internal teams and counterparts to ensure projects run smoothly on time and within budget.
  • Secondary research efforts will include participating in media monitoring projects on an ad-hoc and continuous basis, prioritizing and organizing media content into monitoring reports using both third-party and proprietary software, and assisting project teams with general desk research.
Requirements
  • Quick learner with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Communication and writing skills.
  • Data and statistical knowledge.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
  • Familiarity with SPSS or other statistical software is not required, but would be a significant plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in social sciences, communications, business, or statistics or related area of study.
  • Ability to learn and master new concepts quickly.
  • Excellent reading, writing, editing, data interpretation, and data storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research and analysis is highly preferred.
