Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Business Analyst with a focus on accounting to engage in a client-facing role, steering one of our client's Murex initiatives. This role encompasses new product developments, Murex version enhancements, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and translate business requirements into comprehensive solution designs, facilitating user requirement workshops and creating an overarching solution framework while modeling transactions to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Engage in a hands-on analytical role to assess and recommend solutions for business challenges, process modifications, and functional specifications.
  • Document and articulate business requirements for the Back Office and Accounting sectors.
  • Collaborate with various IT teams across infrastructure and other departments to implement system solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their priorities and requirements, as well as to identify opportunities for system enhancements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with users and stakeholders to manage expectations effectively.
  • Oversee and confirm testing processes and test case validation for the Back Office and Accounting streams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Qualifications
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial sector, specifically with treasury products, along with relevant expertise in business analysis and project execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of Back Office and Accounting principles related to the following treasury products:
    • FX Derivatives, IR Derivatives, EQ Derivatives
    • FX Cash, Fixed Income, and Money Market
    • Commodities
  • Strong team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adept problem solver capable of critically evaluating proposed solutions and understanding business drivers.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management abilities through interactions with individuals across various functions and levels of seniority.
