Job Title:

Senior IT Infrastructure Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive IT infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Ensure the company's IT network, server/storage, and cloud systems are adequately provisioned to meet current and future needs through effective monitoring and upgrades.
  • Oversee the administration of servers, networks, storage, databases, and cloud systems, including timely backups and patching.
  • Provide end-user support for laptops/desktops and ensure smooth operation of IT systems and services.
  • Lead the deployment and support of on-premise and cloud-based servers and network infrastructures.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity controls and ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as GDPR and ISO/IEC.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Incident Response plans.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of the IT infrastructure team, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Handle vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and manage IT budgets for cost efficiency.
  • Manage cloud services (e.g., AWS) and virtual environments to ensure high network availability and minimal downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering, or related fields with at least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, cloud platforms, virtualization, and cybersecurity, with professional certifications an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing technical teams.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills for complex IT infrastructure issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
