Job Title: Vice President of Financial Operations

Blackstone is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Financial Operations to join our International Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the financial, regulatory, and tax reporting requirements of all Blackstone Group entities based outside the US.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Firm's periodical closing and reporting procedures, responding to ad-hoc inquiries from management or other business teams.
  • Prepare financial, tax, or regulatory reports and surveys, as well as internal forecasts and analysis.
  • Stabilize the transition of Singapore's tasks to Blackstone's Center of Excellence (COE).
  • Review recurring tasks conducted by the COE, including monthly journals preparation, close processes, and AP processing.
  • Monitor and review accounting reports for accuracy and completeness, reconciling and resolving any accounting discrepancies.
  • Manage, train, and develop COE staff with accounting and operational work.
  • Coordinate with independent auditors for audits and tax accountants for tax filing procedures.
  • Actively participate in regional/domestic projects to enhance controls, processes, and/or system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Treasury, Compensation Accounting, and other Finance teams in different offices across the region.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 13 years of public and/or private accounting experience in the private equity industry, fund management, or treasury industry.
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting; CPA or graduate degree preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge in Oracle is a plus.
