Senior Private Equity Fund Investment Manager Role

This Senior Private Equity Fund Investment Manager will assist the Head of Private Equity Fund Investment in sourcing and evaluating Private Equity and Private Credit funds, monitoring their performance, and highlighting pertinent matters for consideration.

  • Develops private equity fund investment strategy and long-term goals for portfolio diversification, ensuring optimal risk-adjusted returns.
  • Origination and evaluation of fund investment opportunities, leading due diligence processes to assess fund managers and fund performance metrics.
  • Qualitative and quantitative assessment of fund managers and fund performance metrics, preparing investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
  • Monitors the performance and risk exposure of the private equity fund portfolio, implementing portfolio analytics tools for performance attribution and benchmarking.
  • Evaluates exit strategies and liquidity planning, including potential secondaries sales or restructurings to optimize investment outcomes.
  • Designs and implements the firm's co-investment program, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to define strategy, structure processes, and evaluate opportunities.
  • Learns from and mentors an Analyst/Associate, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics, Finance, or equivalent. A master's degree in these disciplines or CFA qualification is advantageous.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience. At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
  • Experience covering North American and European markets is advantageous.
  • Deep understanding of private equity and private credit fund structures, expertise in designing and managing private markets allocation strategies within a broader multi-asset portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in fund manager due diligence (qualitative and quantitative), familiarity with buy-side LP decision frameworks.
  • Good business and investment acumen, awareness of global markets, economy, and geopolitical developments.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal qualities, high ethical and professional standards.
