We are seeking a skilled and empathetic professional to join our team as a
Care CounsellorCare Counsellors provide essential support to individuals struggling with addiction, offering guidance and resources to facilitate recovery.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a non-judgmental attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to clients, addressing their emotional, social, and psychological needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless case management and resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress through designated systems.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners to promote a culture of trust and respect.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve services and outcomes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and cultural competence.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.
