Job Opportunity: AV Technician

The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual equipment within a secondary school setting. Key responsibilities include coordinating with staff to ensure seamless operation of AV systems during events and activities.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Configure and operate AV equipment for school gatherings, meetings, and morning assemblies
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all AV hardware and software
  • Update inventory records for AV assets, including disposal of obsolete equipment
  • Conduct bi-monthly checks on standard classroom AV equipment
  • Support procurement of AV gear and peripherals
  • Offer assistance with Personal Learning Devices and provide AV training for faculty and students

Requirements:

  • A minimum GCE 'O' Level Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience working in educational institutions
  • Relevant background in AV, computer hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance
