Retail Sales Merchandiser

This role involves building and maintaining strong working relationships with retail store managers and channel partners. The goal is to support product sell-through by ensuring that our products are visible, well-stocked, and neatly displayed in retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retail Relationship Management: We are looking for a professional who can establish and maintain effective partnerships with retail store managers and channel partners.
  • Retail Space Management: This includes securing and expanding shelf space and display areas in retail stores, as well as setting up new spaces when required.
  • Visual Merchandising: Our ideal candidate will have the ability to create eye-catching in-store displays that enhance product visibility and support marketing campaigns.
  • Order Management: The successful candidate will be able to take and process orders at the store level to support sales operations.
  • Stock Replenishment & Display: Ensuring shelves are well-stocked and products are neatly displayed is crucial to this role.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Our merchandiser will be responsible for identifying and reporting damaged or ageing stocks, as well as assisting in regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Market & Store Feedback: Providing timely feedback on product performance, competitor activities, and any in-store issues is essential for this position.
  • Sales Team Support: This role requires close coordination with the sales team on customer orders, merchandising requirements, and store support activities.
  • Meet Sales & Merchandising Targets: Achieving sales goals and merchandising standards according to KPIs is a key responsibility of this role.
  • Outpost & Pop-Up Store Setup: Assisting in the setup and execution of temporary outposts or pop-up stores is also a part of this job.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is necessary for this role.
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma with good communication skills.
  • A team player who can work independently is what we are looking for.
  • Willingsness to travel daily to retail outlets is a requirement for this job.
  • The ideal candidate will be a versatile and self-motivated team player.
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, and passion for goods distribution are essential qualities for this role.
  • Commercially minded and able to drive results in a multi-channel environment is a must.
  • Meticulous in ensuring 100% stock fulfillment and consignment stores' neatness is crucial for this position.
  • Good communicator who can work with other departments responsible for fulfilling orders or providing service to customers is necessary.
  • Good organisational skills to coordinate all aspects of sales administration is a key requirement for this role.
  • A knack for solving problems with agility and creativity is also essential.
  • Flexible mindset and constantly having a learning attitude to evolve to a better and stronger team player is a must.
