Senior Project Manager

  • Approve and monitor contractor execution of quality assurance and control plans.
  • Establish and maintain project controls and metrics for recording and reporting project progress and cost performance.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive project progress reports to company management and present project status to senior management and board members.
  • Manage interfaces between EPC contractors, operations teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and manage project technical, cost, and schedule risks.
  • Develop resourcing plans for project management and recruitment of required resources.
  • Lead and coordinate project management team activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of project and construction experience, with 5 years as a project manager for substantial SGD250 million projects in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong commitment to excellence in HSSE performance.
  • Experience in LNG or cryogenic processes is an advantage.
  • Good leadership and track record of managing complex tasks in a team context.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, budgeting, forecasting, cost and schedule control, and risk management skills.
  • Good understanding of engineering disciplines, procurement practices, and construction drivers.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both upwards and downwards.
  • Understanding of management of change processes and their role in managing technical integrity.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and diplomatically resolve interpersonal conflicts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
