Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

Your role involves providing expert advice on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) matters to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations. You will also be responsible for performing thematic reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with teams to enhance AML capabilities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide 1st line advice on AML related matters to Markets
  • Perform thematic, risk based reviews in line with the Bank's risk appetite
  • Review frameworks, processes, controls and propose enhancements
  • Partner with OH, AML Advisory team and C&ORC to uplift Markets capabilities on AML/CFT topics
  • Facilitate and organize periodic updates to regulators and address all regulatory, internal audit and 2nd line reviews with the Front and other stakeholders
  • Present key updates to management including risks, issues & dependencies in appropriate forums
  • Be a role model to your team of risk partners
  • Help drive a positive risk culture throughout the organization

Team and Expertise:

As an AML Risk specialist, you will be part of the Global Wealth Management (GWM) AML Business Risk Competency team based in Singapore.

Key requirements include higher education with at least 6-12 years of experience in the financial industry, prior experience in risk management or financial crime compliance, comprehensive understanding of wealth management business and regulatory requirements, strong collaboration skills, analytical skills and commercial judgement.
