Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at FIRST WAVE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. as a Cloud Engineer.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure-based cloud solutions, ensuring high levels of reliability, security, and scalability.

  • Designing and implementing cloud native/hybrid infrastructure solutions according to cloud adoption frameworks.
  • Assisting in the migration of workloads from on-premise to the cloud.
  • Documenting work done and creating internal How-To guides.
  • Ensuring proposed cloud architectures and solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Routine daily performance monitoring, cost analysis, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the cloud industry, with a specific focus on Microsoft Azure.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the cloud industry with a specific focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server roles and functions such as ADDS, DNS, DFS, etc.
  • Strong understanding of networking in a hybrid/cloud-native environment setup.
  • Experience in using Azure services such as Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migrate, and Azure File Share.
  • Strong understanding of Azure security features, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft products such as Modern-Works.
  • Experience in Microsoft Intune is a plus.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and/or other scripting languages for Azure automation is desirable.
  • Certified in Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate within the team and with end customers.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
