Editorial Content Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced editor to join our digital health awareness platform. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering impactful content that informs, inspires, and engages diverse audiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism or editorial work, with a passion for health communication. They will combine editorial excellence with digital innovation to simplify complex health topics, drive meaningful conversations, and amplify our mission across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft high-quality editorial content that makes health information accessible, engaging, and relevant.
  • Experiment with various formats—articles, multimedia features, infographics, and more—to reach and resonate with different audiences.
Audience Engagement:
  • Develop content that sparks conversations, builds trust, and strengthens community engagement across digital and social platforms.
  • Monitor engagement metrics to refine storytelling approaches and maximize reach.
Editorial Strategy & Planning:
  • Collaborate with the creative team to define and execute editorial strategies aligned with audience needs and health trends.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for digital platforms—shareable, searchable, and SEO-friendly.
Collaboration & Partnerships:
  • Work closely with designers, healthcare professionals, and other contributors to ensure accuracy, creativity, and consistency across all channels.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align content with broader campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in digital media, journalism, or editorial work—ideally with a focus on health, wellness, or science communication.
  • A track record of producing high-impact, creative content that drives readership and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, analytics, and digital engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an eye for clarity, precision, and impact.
  • A passion for health topics and an ability to translate complex ideas into engaging stories.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Health, or a related field.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Experience producing multimedia content (video, podcasts, interactive storytelling).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with healthcare experts to ensure credibility and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with healthcare marketing and digital health campaigns.
